My story
I am a self taught baker. My first cookbook was Debbie Fields Great American Desserts and I made every recipe in the book! I practiced over and over again. Soon, I began designing the dessert list for our family’s restaurant in Arizona. In 2015, I had an incredible opportunity to take a pastry course in Rome through Accademia Nazionale Professioni Alberghiere. There, I had one on one lessons with a professor that taught me classic Italian recipes. I was able to coincidingly do a stage at a popular bakery. Along with brushing up on my Italian, I learned unique pastry methods that I still reference. Once back in the states, I began to do wedding dessert tables and cakes for friends in my spare time.
I can get lost in my kitchen when I’m working- it truly is my happy place!! I enjoy trying new recipes, altering old ones and experimenting with new techniques and styles.
